BACKGROUND:

The client purchased land in a quiet suburban area near Austin and chose to begin their home journey with a small, cabin-like loft designed for two. The space reflects their preference for modern, cool, and timeless design—simple, intentional, and connected to its surroundings.

CONCEPT:

The expansive site is surrounded by trees and open landscape, offering uninterrupted views of nature. The main living space opens fully toward this scenery, with large windows and operable glass doors that invite the outdoors in. Designed with a cabin-like sensibility, a fireplace is set beside the window wall—creating a cozy place to sit, unwind, and enjoy the changing light, the trees, and the quiet rhythm of the landscape.
