BACKGROUND:

As Foothill Venture’s team continues to grow, they engaged us to design their new office space to support their expanding operations. The project encompasses approximately 2,000 square feet within a larger flexible floor plate, offering the opportunity to strategically define and shape the layout from the ground up.

CONCEPT:

Contemporary office design prioritizes flexibility, wellness, and meaningful collaboration. They are environments that foster connection, creativity, and culture.

• Flexibility & Adaptability
  Spaces are designed to evolve. With a simple reconfiguration of furniture, the open areas can transform to host company gatherings and events, a feature the client especially valued.

• Focus + Collaboration Balance
  Open plans are thoughtfully complemented by quiet booths, enclosed meeting rooms, and acoustic strategies that support both focused work and collaborative exchange. At the heart of the space, a central island anchors the layout—bringing the entire team together as a shared incubator for ideas and an organic social hub.

• Wellness-Centered Design
  Perimeter windows frame abundant natural light and capture the vibrant red foliage of downtown Los Altos in the fall, bringing seasonal color and a strong connection to the surrounding streetscape into the workspace.

• Residential Warmth in Commercial Spaces
  Soft materials, layered lighting, and refined textures bring comfort and hospitality into the workplace—making the office a place people want to be.
